Falling into the Wedding Trap

After seeing the wedding invitations that my wife got from https://www.brideandgroomdirect.co.uk/wedding-invitations, a friend of hers wanted to get some from there. She loved how they had a certain pattern on them and the color scheme that was used. She was having her own wedding to her longtime boyfriend and she wanted to have the best ceremony possible, down to the invitations. I just knew when she said that she would be going through a lot, because having the best means looking at a lot of things to decide what the best is, and sometimes it can be a little stressful to sit through it all. My wife wasn’t a fan of all this, and decided to go for a simpler approach.

While my wife’s friend was planning the wedding, she would constantly check up on her to make sure that everything was going fine. Each time that she saw her, it looked like she was getting more and more stressed out, and was starting to feel a little depressed about the whole experience. We tried to convince her that she should just keep it simple, but she wanted it to be a grand experience like the ones that she saw in movies and television shows.

In spite of all of the stress that my wife’s friend went through, the wedding still went off perfectly. She was glad that it was finally done, and so was her husband. They could finally take a break from all of that and just enjoy their new life as a husband and wife. That is, until a child starts to come in the mix. Once the first born enters the picture, they’re going to be up at all hours of the night to deal with crying and diaper changes and warming bottles to feed the baby.
